Commercial Grade Construction: The top frame is securely bolted to the slate for consistent and accurate play. Made from durable plywood, the SAM Atlantic table is lighter and more resilient than standard MDF, making it less susceptible to damp conditions and easier to repair. Slate Bed Playing Surface: There is no substitute for slate when it comes to achieving a perfectly level playing field. The natural slate, sourced from the world's great mountain ranges and diamond honed to perfection by SAM, is carefully stored and prepared to ensure it remains perfectly level upon installation. Notably, the slate is 25mm thick, which is around 6mm thicker than most slate pool tables.
